Life Coaching is a relationship of interdependency between the coach and the client. It is a relationship based on honesty, respect and the life coach’s unwavering beliefs in the clients unlimited potential.
Life coaching formula: Potential minus interference equals performance (Tim Gallwey)
There is no failure only feedback.
They aren’t mistakes but lessons learnt.

Now we are in the middle of February - how are your NY resolutions coming along? I think the support of a Life Coach will help you keep to your agreements. The mind can be very lazy and if you dont feel responsible to anyone else and you dont put your goals “out there” then it can be difficult to keep motivated on your more challenging days. A Life Coach costs money - but how much is it worth to you that you lead a great life and get support in doing the things you know will make you happy? After all you only get one life.

I’m currently coaching people in the UK on the PPI Refunds process. Payment Protection Insurance has been miss-sold for far too long now and the banks are finally having to splash out on refunds for all the PPI claims being made.
The process isn’t as straightforward as one would like so I have been coaching all of my friends on what best steps to take

We all speak using representational systems.
Each of us uses a primary or preferred representational system. The main ones being auditory, kinasthetic and visual.
A Life Coach needs to converse in each representational system.
Mismatched representational systems may lead to misunderstandings and difficulties in rapport building during coaching.

Reframing is a quick fix tool used by a Life Coach to get a client to view a problem/past memory in a different and more empowering way. Frame to set the scene and reframe to change the scene.

Back in 1972 Richard Bandler was a psychology student at the university of California, John Grinder was an assistant professor of linguistics at the same University. Their studies led them to create NLP, Neuro Lingusitic Programming - which is an important tool that a Life Coach would use today. NLP is a method of coding and understanding successful behaviour. The resultant patterns allow the results to be replicated by modelling. NLP is a constantly evolving and developing process.
